2020 Audi Q7 First Drive Review: Smarter And Sharper

The mid-cycle refresh for Audi’s three-row SUV is downright refreshing.

Vehicles lifecycles follow a pretty familiar pattern. They debut, and after a few years, a significant refresh happens with a full redesign coming a few years later. Based on this blueprint, one would expect the 2020 Audi Q7, four years on from its last redesign, to improve in ways that freshen its appeal amidst newer competition.

Yet reviewing the list of changes for the 2020 model year introduces some questions. With a new engine, updated exterior and interior design, and a new generation of convenience and safety technology, has the latest Q7 undergone a more substantial evolution?

Gotta Q?

To properly appraise the 2020 Audi Q7, we need some time in the saddle, which brings us to Palm Springs, California for a first drive.

Merida road bike range

Best aero road bikes

Cannondale SuperSix EVO review

Merida may not be the first brand that comes to mind when seeking top-flight performance on the road but that doesn’t mean the Reacto should be overlooked. While Merida may not have the boutique cache that many other brands offer, the Reacto certainly doesn’t lack performance when mixing it with the best aero road bikes. In fact, the Reacto boasts some impressive aero advantages thanks to the brand’s CFD and wind-tunnel testing. Like the previous iterations of the Reacto, refined laboratory score’s prove to translate well when the rubber hits the tarmac and, as Merida is the bike sponsors for Bahrain Mclaren Team in 2020, the CF4 Reacto is the bike of choice for Mark Cavendish.

The Merida Reacto is now in its third iteration and the LTD addition you see here has been

2020 BMW X4 M Competition Review: Over The Edge

Insanely capable, not so livable.

Verdict 6.3 / 10

The age of the performance crossover is now. Fast, high-riding cars are truly having a moment, with fantastic options from all over Europe now doing battle to get showroom attention. As their ranks grow, it’s getting harder for performance CUVs to stand out from the crowd. Automakers are addressing this issue by adding even more performance to fully leaded crossovers.

Look no further than the 2020 BMW X4 M Competition, a more powerful version of the already potent X4 M. That lengthy badge equates to one of the most ferocious, capable crossovers on the market, with plenty of visual flair on offer, too. BMW’s smaller crossover coupe gets the full M treatment with over 500 horsepower, dramatic styling, and suspension tuning that makes it a surprisingly great candidate for a track day. But not so much a daily driver. For

2020 Porsche Macan Review | Price, features, specs and photos

When it comes to the world of small sport utility vehicles, nobody does sport better than Porsche. That’s as it should be, as the 2020 Porsche Macan continues its reign as an exceedingly fun crossover in just about every performance guise. The Macan is the second crossover to come out of the Stuttgart-based sports car maker, and although it’s considerably smaller and cheaper than the Cayenne, it still packs the Porsche punch we expect.

A number of performance levels are offered; the interior is well-appointed, and its technology is keeping with the times. Just like every other Porsche, the Macan can be customized to no end. However, it’s also on the pricey side of the aisle if you want it equipped with many of the features offered by its cheaper competitors. That said, there’s no better small crossover to drive than the Macan, and if that’s a
